Moya is a platform that connects users seeking services with service providers. We provide:
- A marketplace to discover and offer local services
- Tools for service providers to create professional profiles
- Communication features to connect users and service providers
- Search and discovery features based on location and categories
- Review and rating systems for service quality
Important: Moya is a platform only. We do not provide services directly, employ service providers, or guarantee the quality of services offered through the platform.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
To use certain features of Moya, you must create an account by providing:
- Your name
- Email address and/or phone number
- Password (or authentication through Google)
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities

6. Payments and Fees
Currently, Moya does not process payments between users and service providers. All payment arrangements are made directly between users and service providers outside of the platform.
We reserve the right to introduce fees or payment processing services in the future with appropriate notice.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Rights
Moya and its content (excluding user-generated content) are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
- Use our trademarks or branding without authorization
- Reverse engineer or decompile the application
7.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you post on Moya. However, by posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content as necessary to operate the Services.

Users may post reviews and ratings of service providers. All reviews must:
- Be based on genuine experiences
- Be honest and not misleading
- Not contain offensive or discriminatory language

We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these standards.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Moya is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

- Service providers will deliver quality services
- Information on the platform is accurate or complete
- The platform will be free from viruses or harmful components
10.2 Third-Party Services
Service providers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Moya. We are not responsible for:
- The quality, safety, or legality of services provided
- Actions or conduct of service providers
- Disputes between users and service providers
- Injuries, damages, or losses resulting from services
10.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Neo Technologies PLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Moya.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Neo Technologies PLC from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Services you provide or receive through the platform
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Between Users
Disputes between users and service providers should be resolved directly between the parties. Moya is not responsible for mediating or resolving such disputes.
12.2 With Moya
Any disputes with Moya shall be governed by the laws of Ethiopia. You agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting our support team.
13. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date
- Notify you through the app or email
- Provide reasonable notice before changes take effect
Your continued use of Moya after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through app settings. Upon termination:
- Your access to the Services will be revoked
- Your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- Certain provisions of these Terms will survive termination (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, indemnification)
